Pöytyän nykyinen kirkko on rakennettu v. 1793 Mikael Piimäsen johdolla arkkitehti C.C. Gjörwellin piirustusten mukaan. Se omistettiin 'rahvaan toivomuksesta' silloisen Ruotsin kuninkaan Kustaa IV Aadolfin nimikkokirkoksi. Kirkon esittelyt seurakuntamestari p. 040 657 9586 (kirkko suljettu remontin vuoksi ajalla 18.1.-30.9.2024) Kirkkotien puoleisen sisäänkäynnin yhteydessä on ramppi pyörätuolille. The museum is located in a neoclassical rectory completed in 1802. The downstairs is comfortably decorated to reflect from the 1930s and 1950s. In two rooms, an exhibition of the work of sculptor Aarre Aaltonen (1889-1980). The peasant seals and the state parliament man Kaarlo Wärri's room are displayed upstairs….

Den nuvarande kyrkan i Pöytyä byggdes 1793 under ledning av Mikael Piimänen enligt ritningarna av arkitekt C.C. Gjörwell. Den ägnades åt "det vanliga folkets önskan" som dåvarande kung Gustav IV Aadolfs dåvarande kyrka. Öppet enligt överenskommelse.

The current church in Pöytyä was built in 1793 under the direction of Mikael Piimänen according to the drawings of architect C.C. Gjörwell. It was dedicated to the 'wish of the common people' as the epanty church of the then King gustav IV Aadolf of Sweden. Open by agreement.
